Julien Tranchant

Julien Tranchant, PhD in Materials Science and Centrale Nantes engineer, combines industrial experience from Philips with academic leadership as a CNRS Research Engineer. He co-founded and co-directs PLASSMAT (25 researchers), the IMN’s scientific equipment platform, and has specialized in developing Mott insulator-based components since 2011. His expertise includes Mott memory technology, nano-fabrication processes and a decade- long engagement with industry and innovation ecosystems.
